Reuben broke in, “Did I not tell you not to do wrong to the boy?
But you would not listen! Now comes the reckoning for his blood.”
(Genesis 41:22)
Father in heaven, You know me from inside and out. You know all the things I need and want even before I ask. Praise be to You O Lord for knowing everything and being merciful of my sins and wrongdoings.
Nothing is concealed from You and no secrets will not come to light. Please forgive me for the countless times when I have not listened to You and have chosen to do wrong. Times when jealousy, sefishness, anger, and greed creeps in catching me off guard. As I recognized my sinfulness O Lord, help me not to hold grudge against those who have hurt or offended me. Give me the generosity to forgive and let go. May I always show a character of goodness so that people may not seem as I am but the Lord Jesus in me.
Despite all these, You have kept me under Your full protection and continue to grant me the abundance of Your grace. Thank You so much O Lord for all the enjoyment and comfort that You lavish upon me in spite of the famine and crisis the world faces. With much love and full of praise and thanksgiving I humbly pray in Jesus Name.
